Editorial Process

Before Submission

The Authors must produce their manuscripts using the IMEJ template and fully adhere to the journal's author requirements. A single person should not write the article unless they have received special invitations or have established a notable reputation in the field of mathematics education through significant research or publishing contributions. Submissions written by a single person are only considered for invited writers or those with a distinguished academic background. Furthermore, carefully check the document for clarity, coherence, and consistency. During the submission process, submit a proofreading certificate and the results of a similarity check (using recognized plagiarism detection software) as extra files. The similarity check must meet the journal's permitted levels for originality. Any article that does not conform with the author's rules, the journal's emphasis and scope, or is submitted in an inappropriate format will be rejected immediately. We will also return manuscripts without review if they have substantial English quality concerns or fail to meet the journal's academic and linguistic standards. We will only review and publish manuscripts that fully comply with the IMEJ submission guidelines. This technique assures that all published work is of high academic quality and in line with the IMEJ's aim of advancing mathematics education research.
