FORMULASI SIRUP DEKOKTA KERANG TUDE BOMBANG (Atactodea striata) SEBAGAI HEPATOPROTEKTOR ALAMI

Abstrak

Kerang Tude Bombang (Atactodea striata) merupakan agen hepatoprotektif potensial karena kandungan protein bioaktif dan lemaknya yang rendah, yang berkontribusi pada perlindungan hati melalui aktivitas antioksidan, perbaikan kerusakan hepatoseluler, serta pencegahan akumulasi lipid dalam sel hati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan sirup dekokta kerang Tude Bombang dan mengevaluasi efek hepatoprotektifnya terhadap hepatotoksisitas yang diinduksi parasetamol pada mencit, serta menilai sifat organoleptik, homogenitas, dan pH sediaan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kadar SGOT dan SGPT pada kelompok kontrol normal tetap stabil (SGOT: 17,7–17,2 U/L; SGPT: 7,5–7,2 U/L), sedangkan kelompok kontrol negatif mengalami peningkatan yang persisten (SGOT: 374,7–373 U/L; SGPT: 97,2–95,6 U/L), menegaskan adanya kerusakan hati. Kontrol positif (kurkumin) menurunkan SGOT menjadi 220,3 U/L dan SGPT menjadi 102,4 U/L. Sirup kerang Tude Bombang menunjukkan efek hepatoprotektif bergantung dosis, dengan konsentrasi 60% menghasilkan penurunan SGOT (350,9 menjadi 288,9 U/L) dan SGPT (96 menjadi 73,6 U/L) paling signifikan, yang menunjukkan kemampuan dalam menstabilkan enzim hati dan mengurangi kerusakan hepatoseluler. Uji organoleptik menunjukkan karakteristik sensoris yang dapat diterima, homogenitas formulasi seragam tanpa sedimentasi, dan nilai pH netral (7,02–7,20) sesuai standar sirup oral. Secara keseluruhan, sirup kerang Tude Bombang memiliki sifat fisik yang baik serta potensi hepatoprotektif melalui kandungan protein bioaktif dan kadar lemak rendahnya, menjadikannya kandidat menjanjikan untuk formulasi hepatoprotektif fungsional.
