IMPLEMENTASI INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) DALAM PEMANTAUAN DAN OPTIMASI KINERJA PRODUKSI: KAJIAN SISTEMATIK LITERATUR

In the era of digital transformation and increasingly competitive industrial markets, the use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has become increasingly relevant for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of production performance in the manufacturing sector. This study aims to systematically analyse various literature related to the implementation of IoT in monitoring and optimising the production process. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach, which involves the identification, analysis, and synthesis of 30 recent literature sources. The study's results show that IoT makes a significant contribution to real-time data collection, predictive maintenance, improved resource efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. The findings also reveal that the integration of IoT with Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and other digital systems strengthens the resilience and scalability of production systems. However, challenges such as start-up costs, integration of legacy technologies, HR readiness, and data security are still major obstacles. Therefore, IoT implementation needs to be strategically designed with the support of training, adequate digital infrastructure, and cross-sector collaboration. This study provides an important foundation for the development of more effective and sustainable IoT implementation policies and strategies in the manufacturing industry.
Abstrak
Dalam era transformasi digital dan persaingan industri yang semakin kompetitif, pemanfaatan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) menjadi sangat relevan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas kinerja produksi di sektor manufaktur. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara sistematis berbagai literatur terkait implementasi IoT dalam pemantauan dan optimasi proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, yang melibatkan identifikasi, analisis, dan sintesis terhadap 30 sumber literatur terbaru. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa IoT memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengumpulan data real-time, pemeliharaan prediktif, serta peningkatan efisiensi sumber daya dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Temuan juga mengungkapkan bahwa integrasi IoT dengan Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, dan sistem digital lainnya memperkuat ketahanan dan skalabilitas sistem produksi. Namun, tantangan seperti biaya awal, integrasi teknologi lama, kesiapan SDM, dan keamanan data masih menjadi hambatan utama. Oleh karena itu, implementasi IoT perlu dirancang secara strategis dengan dukungan pelatihan, infrastruktur digital yang memadai, serta kolaborasi lintas sektor. Kajian ini memberikan landasan penting bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan strategi implementasi IoT yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan di industri manufaktur.
