The Department of Mechanical Engineering publishes Jurnal Teknik Mesin Mechanical Xplore (JTMMX) within the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Buana Perjuangan in Karawang, West Java, Indonesia. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed platform for academicians, researchers, and practitioners in mechanical engineering to disseminate their work. The second issue of volume 4 JTMMX was released on January 14, 2024. The five scientific articles featured in this issue have undergone a rigorous peer review to ensure their adherence to scientific publication standards. Among these articles, one of them resulted from international collaboration, while the others have involved collaborations from various institutions across Indonesia. The authors contributing to this publication are affiliated with esteemed universities, including Universiti Malaysia Pahang in Pahang-Malysia, Universitas Islam 45 in Bekasi-West Java, Universitas Sebelas Maret in Surakarta- Central Java, Politeknik Sukabumi in Sukabumi-West Java, Politenik Industri ATMI Cikarang in Bekasi-West Java, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in Bandung-West Java, Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis, Bengkalis-Riau and Universitas Buana Perjuangan in Karawang-West Java. Several articles explicitly outline their contributions in support of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
