Abstract

Global dynamics and technological advances are changing the paradigm of citizenship, creating an urgent need for education strategies that respond to challenges such as cyberbullying among teenagers. Global Citizenship Education (GCED) is an innovative educational concept that emphasizes the interconnectedness of individuals with the global community, promotes intercultural understanding, and develops empathy for global issues. Cyberbullying among adolescents is a negative impact of digital globalization, exacerbated by low ethics and legal understanding in cyberspace, leading to serious psychological and social disorders. Therefore, Global Citizenship Education (GCED) is a very effective prevention tool because it essentially aims to shape critical, empathetic, tolerant, and responsible global citizens. This approach specifically empowers adolescents critical digital literacy and social-emotional skills, training them to understand the moral and ethical consequences of online actions. By instilling global values that are in line with the Pancasila Student Profile, Global Citizenship Education (GCED) encourages adolescents to act responsibly, civilly, and create a safe digital environment for all citizens.
