Synergy between Pancasila and Science to Achieve Equitable Progress

Pancasila is the foundation of the state and the Indonesian nation's view of noble values that can serve as a moral foundation and direction for the development of science. On the other hand, science is an important tool in driving national progress. Each principle in Pancasila provides a moral and ethical framework that can guide scientists or academics to produce knowledge that is not only innovative, but also socially trustworthy and just. This study aims to provide insight and understanding of the synergy between Pancasila and science to realize equitable progress and explain how Pancasila values can collaborate with progress that is not only in the form of material wealth, but also social justice. This study uses a qualitative approach to the library research method by collecting and using research materials from relevant previous research sources such as newspapers, magazines, books, and relevant journal articles that can be accounted for, then the report is presented in descriptive form. Considering the disparity in access to technology and education, the lack of Pancasila literacy among academics, uneven development, and injustice, it can be concluded that synergy between Pancasila and science is crucial for realizing an advanced and just national civilization. Integrating the values of humanity, unity, justice, and sustainability into the education and innovation process will produce a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also morally strong and imbued with noble character.
