- The Jurnal Buana Akuntansi (JBA), with ISSN [2528-1119] E-ISSN [25805452] serves as the journal that is devoted exclusively to accounting research. JBA is a peer-reviewed and open access journal. Its primary objective is to contribute to the expansion of knowledge related to the theory and practice of accounting with the perspective both nationally and globally, by facilitating the production and dissemination of academic research throughout the world.
- JBA hopes to provide an interesting accounting journal for researchers, academics, practitioners, policy makers and post-graduate students, to share knowledge, exchange ideas and establish academic relationships. This journal seeks to bridge academic and professional audiences with articles that focus on accounting, broadly defined, and that provide insights pertinent to the accounting profession. JBA covered various research approaches, that are: quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method
- The scope of the journal covers all areas of accounting. To encourage the growth of Indonesian accounting research and practice, it is open to all approaches to research

- The JBA has been in collaboration with ALJEBI. JBA formerly issued twice a year, in (March), and (September). First published, volume 1 issue 1, in September 2016. This journal is published by The Community Services at Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang. All accepted manuscripts will be published worldwide and indexed in Google Scholar, GARUDA, Crossref, Copernicus, and Sinta 5.
- Jurnal Buana Akuntansi will ensure that every published article will not exceed a 20% similarity Score. Articles found with plagiarism more than 20% are automatically rejected, and authors are advised if the article has a similarity below or equal to 20%. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Editor in chief using Plagiarism Checker Turnitin
