Analisis Kesulitan Membaca Siswa Pasca Pandemi di Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
This study aims to describe the characteristics of early reading difficulties and factors causing difficulty in early reading in low grades during the post-Covid 19 pandemic. Research implementation at SDN Sukaluyu III Karawang. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the characteristics of reading difficulties in the lower grades were reversed in recognizing letters, unable to spell syllables, not yet proficient at reading consonants, not yet proficient in reading diphthongs and graphs, and reading word for word. The factors that caused difficulties at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic were as follows. First, internal factors such as physical factors, intellectual factors, and psychological factors. Second, external factors such as the family environment, school environment, and community environment. Third, the combination factor, which is caused by a combination of internal and external factors.
