Pengaruh Metode Eksperimen dengan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the experimental method with the contextual teaching and learning CTL approach on students' science learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN Sirnabaya II, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency. This research is a kind of quantitative research with Quasi Experiment method with Nonrandomized Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population used was all fifth grade students of SDN Sirnabaya II, amounting to 50 students. The samples used were 25 experimental class students and 25 control class students. For data collection techniques using multiple-choice tests which were analyzed by calculating biserial points. The results of the data validity test from 20 multiple choice questions, 17 questions were declared valid. The results of the reliability test obtained r11 of 0.88 which was obtained between 0.81≤ r11≤ 1, then it was stated that the level of reliability of the test instrument test was classified as very high. The results of hypothesis testing obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 which is used to test the difference in the average value of students' science learning outcomes, namely two parties, because the sig value of 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected, this proves that the experimental method with a contextual approach teaching and learning CTL has an effect on science learning outcomes.
