Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of let's read application media in improving english vocabulary of elementary school students of SDN Karawang Kulon II. This research is a quantitative research. The population used was all grade IV students of SDN Karawang Kulon II with Random Sampling technique. So that class IV B is obtained as the experimental class and class IV C as the control class. The data collection technique using the multiple choice question test for English vocabulary ability obtained 15 valid instrument items from 30 points of instrument questions tested. The results of the reliability test obtained r11 0.759. Data analysis techniques for testing hypotheses are carried out by statistical calculations of independent samples t-test. The results of hypothesis testing, there was a significant influence of the let's read application media on students' English vocabulary skills. The results of the descriptive test calculations obtained an average result of 41.26 and an average result of of 81.66. In the calculation of the hypothesis test using independent samples t-test obtained Si. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, it shows that the Hypothesis ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So in conclusion, the let's read application media is able to improve students' English vocabulary. This means that elementary school students can understand English vocabulary by using the let's read application.
