INSECURE ATTACHMENT DAN REGULASI EMOSI SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR TERHADAP KECENDERUNGAN MELAKUKAN KEKERASAN DALAM BERPACARAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memprediksikan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kecenderungan kekerasan dalam berpacaran pada dewasa awal dilihat dari insecure attachment dan regulasi emosi. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 155 responden yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif kausalitas. Pengambilan data responden menggunakan tiga instrumen skala psikologi yang dimodifikasi dari The Revised Conflict Tactic Scale untuk mengukur kekerasan dalam berpacaran dan diadaptasi dari Experince in Close Relationship-Revised serta Emotion Regulation Quesionaire untuk mengukur insecure attachment dan regulasi emosi. Data penelitian diolah menggunakan SPSS 27 menggunakan uji analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa insecure attachment dan regulasi emosi berpengaruh terhadap kecenderungan melakukan kekerasan dalam berpacaran. Besar pengaruh kedua varibel tersebut secara simultan adalah 35,7% dan 64,3% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

This research aims to predict factors that influence the tendency to violence in dating in early adulthood in terms of insecure attachment and emotional regulation. Respondents in this study totaled 155 respondents who live in Karawang Regency. This research was carried out using quantitative research methods with associative causality type. Respondent data were collected using three psychological scale instruments modified from The Revised Conflict Tactic Scale to measure violence in dating and adapted from Experience in Close Relationships-Revised and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire to measure insecure attachment and emotional regulation. Research data was processed using SPSS 27 using multiple regression analysis tests. The results of this study show that insecure attachment and emotional regulation influence the tendency to commit violence in dating. The magnitude of the influence of these two variables simultaneously is 35.7% and the other 64.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
