Pengaruh Pelatihan Soft Skills dan Pelatihan Hard Skills Terhadap Kesiapan Karier Pegawai: Studi Pada Pegawai Generasi Z di Kota Mataram Lombok

This study analyzes the influence of soft skills and hard skills training on the career readiness of Generation Z employees in Mataram City, Lombok. Using a mixed methods sequential exploratory design, the qualitative phase involved interviews with 7 employees to explore their perceptions and training experiences, followed by a quantitative phase with a questionnaire to 120 respondents. The analysis shows that both variables have a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, with a joint contribution of 48.2% on employee career readiness. The qualitative findings highlight that the combination of soft and hard skills is key to career readiness, supporting self-confidence, adaptability, technical skills, innovation, competitiveness, and professional networking. The results of the study recommend the importance of integrated training programs to improve the competitiveness of Generation Z.
