1. Official Announcement of Sinta 4 Accreditation Achievement

We are pleased to announce that Jurnal Teknik Mesin Mechanical Xplore (JTMMX) has been granted Sinta 4 accreditation in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture. This is to certify under the decree number 177/E/KPT/2024, dated October 15, 2024, which is effective from Volume 2, Issue 2, 2022.

This achievement results from the hard work, dedication, and contributions of all those involved. We want to thank all colleagues, authors, reviewers, editors, and other stakeholders who have supported us throughout the accreditation process.

Looking ahead, we hope that JTMMX will continue to grow as a high-quality scientific publication platform, significantly contributing to advancing knowledge and technology and serving as a valuable reference for academics and practitioners in mechanical engineering.

2. APC (Article Processing Charge) (30-10-2023)

Starting from Volume 4, Issue 2 (January 2024), all accepted articles in the JTMMX Journal will be subject to an article publication fee of IDR 400,000, intended to cover publication costs. However, publication fees will not be applied under the following conditions: (a). For articles submitted before the date of this announcement. (b). The best article is published as the first in each edition and involves at least one writer/author from abroad.

Revision: Rp 0.

Accepted: Rp400.000,-

Translate Rp 0. 

Proofreading: Rp 0.

3. JTMMX Journal will be published in English (30-10-2023)

Effective from Volume 4, Issue 2 (January 2024), all articles in the JTMMX Journal will be published in English. Articles submitted in Bahasa (Indonesian language) format have still been received. However, once an article is accepted, it must be promptly translated into English within 2 weeks. The JTMMX team will assist in translating articles submitted before this announcement into English at no cost.

3. TRANSITION TO THE CREATIVE COMMONS CC LICENSE FOR PUBLISHED JTMX ARTICLES FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCLUSION

Since 2022, JTMMX articles have been published under the Creative Commons License (CC License), which differs from the previous “All Right Reserved” license. CC License is more like a ’some rights reserved license, which allows users to use article contents without prior permission under specific conditions. It has become the ‘de facto global standard for open-access scholarly journals. By publishing articles in JTMMX open-access, we expect an increase in the number of citations and readership of the articles. The transition to the CC license takes place on December 15, 2022

The new license will be CC- BY-NC, the same as the one applied to JTMMX.

The Society believes there will be no particular disadvantage to authors due to this change to the CC license. Don't hesitate to contact us at the following address if you have any questions.
