Hubungan Lingkungan Sekolah dengan Karakter Sopan Santun Siswa
Abstract
This study aims determine the relationship between the school environment and the polite character of elementary school students. This research is a quantitative descriptive approach using correlation research techniques. The population in this study were fourth grade students of sdn cluster I, Pede district, Karawang Regency, in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The sample in this study used Simple Random data collection and chosen ones were students of class VI SDN Kerta mulya II Pedes District with a total of 80 students. The technique of collecting data is through a school environment questionnaire end a student polite character questionnaire. The validity test is calculated using the Product Moment formula and the reliability is tested using the KR-20 formula. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Hypotesis testing using correlation analysis with Pearson’s Product Moment formula assisted by SPSS 26 for Windows. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between the school environment and the character of students manner which was indicated by the rcount volue of 0,955, while the rtable with the number of N =80 at a signipicant level of 5% was 0,0217, so dath rount .rtable (0.955 > 0,217) So, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the school environment end the polite character of student.
